Professional in the General Insurance field with a career spanning 28 years in India, Oman, and UAE. Graduated in Mechanical Engineering with Post Graduation in Financial Management. Also Fellow of Insurance Institute of India. Joined the general insurance industry as a risk engineer gradually moving into underwriting, risk management, claims management and operations.

After handling the major industrial belt in India with Oriental Insurance and later on Tata AIG moved to Oman to set up the underwriting and claims operations of the first Takaful company in the Sultanate- Al Madina Takaful. Took charge as CTO of Watania Takaful in 2016 as part of the new executive management team. In these three years, Watania has realigned its operations to turnaround loss-making operations to surplus generating one. The current role includes leading the technical operations, i.e., underwriting, claims, and reinsurance. Also chairing the Happiness Committee set up to enhance the experience of customer service.
