Prabhakar Kesavan is a Regional General Manager with Voltas Ltd, the TATA enterprise’s International Operations Business Group, based in Dubai responsible for Voltas’ joint ventures in the Middle East. He is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and has worked in financial, commercial and general management roles in the Construction and Power Projects business for 30+ years, 26 of which have been in the Middle East and 2 in Singapore.

He started his career with Voltas and spent 2 years at the Head Office in Mumbai and 7 years in Bahrain and the UAE. He then worked for 17 years with Aggreko Plc (an FTSE 50 company at its peak), based out of Dubai, and latterly in Singapore, with a role and remit initially covering finance and then extending to IT, supply chain (for part of the period) and continuous improvement. While based in Singapore he was General Manager for Aggreko’s business in North Asia (China, Japan & South Korea). He returned to Voltas in 2016 as Commercial Director responsible for pre-and post-contract commercial and contractual management while also supporting business development, negotiations, and contract closure.
